Figures

Figures is a selection of drawings, paintings, prints, digital and mixed media work by Brigit. Her work centers around the body, it’s physical fragility, instability, distortions and, of course, modifications.

Brigit’s work is an interpretation of the stories she ‘reads’ in the human body. She brings personal memories, sentiments and associations to bear on the figures she creates. Brigit tries to convey a narrative by providing elements for the viewer to piece together into his or her own story.
